Today's Weather - September 18, 2012

Today we will see heavy rain and it will be very windy (see below for more details on the wind). Temps will be in the mid 60s to low 70s. Tonight we will see rain, heavy at times, with lows in the 50s. Tomorrow we will see showers in the morning then clearing by afternoon. It will be a cool day with highs in the high 50s to low 60s.

ADVISORY...WHICH IS IN EFFECT FROM NOON TODAY TO MIDNIGHT EDT
TONIGHT.

* LOCATIONS...NORTHERN AND CENTRAL VERMONT...THE CHAMPLAIN VALLEY
AND THE ADIRONDACKS OF NORTHERN NEW YORK.

* WINDS...SOUTH 25 TO 35 MPH WITH GUSTS UP TO 50 MPH.

* TIMING...FROM NOON TODAY UNTIL MIDNIGHT TONIGHT.

* IMPACTS...DAMAGE FROM FALLEN TREES AND TREE LIMBS MAY CAUSE
DOWN POWER LINES AND RESULT IN POWER OUTAGES.

A WIND ADVISORY MEANS THAT WINDS OF 35 MPH OR MORE ARE EXPECTED. WINDS THIS STRONG CAN MAKE DRIVING DIFFICULT...ESPECIALLY FOR HIGH PROFILE VEHICLES. USE EXTRA CAUTION.
