WIND ADVISORY

The National Weather Service in Burlington has issued a WIND ADVISORY... which is in effect from 11pm this evening to 11am Monday.

*Locations: Western slopes of the Green Mountains

*Hazards: Gusty southeast winds

*Winds: Southeast 20 to 30 mph with gusts up to 50mph

*Timing: North winds 10 to 20 mph this evening will shift to the southeast and increase to 20 to 30 mph with gusts up to 50 mph by early Monday morning.

*Impacts: Isolated power outages will be possible along with scattered downed tree limbs and branches

*Instructions: A WIND ADVISORY means that winds of 35 mph or more are expected. Winds this strong can make driving difficult, especially for high profile vehicles. Use extra caution
